About Shauna - Female Personal Trainer
Certified with NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association)
I am a BCRPA registered trainer with certification in CPR and
first aid. I have been working and studying in the health and
fitness industry for the past 6 years and continue to upgrade
the credits I have received in nutrition, sports psychology, rehabilitation
exercise, sports specific training, as well as others.
I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with
men and women of all fitness levels and ages ranging from 10 years
old to 90 years old! Some of my clients begin and complete programs
that return them to work after accidents or illness, some of my
clients are training to compete in specific sports and yet other
clients wish to achieve weight loss, a firmer body and a healthier,
more youthful lifestyle.
I love being able to help people reach their goals and as a female personal trainer, I have a
real passion and enthusiasm for sports and fitness. I have participated
in many sports myself. I was in swimming programs before I was
able to walk. At the age of 19 I discovered a love of aerobics,
and weight lifting and continue to enjoy both. Two years ago I
competed in my first triathlon and did 2 that summer, loving every
minute of it! Currently, my workout routine consists of weight
lifting, running, swimming and cycling, and I am always finding
a new sport to love and participate in!
A variety of services are offered that are specific for your fitness training which can include online personal training and online diets, private studio fitness training and nutritional consulting.
